ROS News for January 8th, 2024
CMU dropped their ROS-based “Autonomous Navigation Development Environment” this week. It is definitely worth a look. We’re going to have them do a demo at the March Gazebo community meeting.
It was CES this week and a lot of ROS companies released their products this week. CES was also the venue for the Indy Autonomous Challenge Race (according to this tweet TUM won the competition.) The IAC also released their new vehicle.
The fine folks at Burro raised $24M this week and released a new, larger, robot.
This week ABB announced that they acquiredSwiss AMR maker, and ROS users, Sevensense..
