ROS News for the Week of August 12th, 2024
This week the Open-RMF team released a new version of Open-RMF for ROS 2 Jazzy Jalisco . There’s a lot of great new features in this release, including a slick web front end.
Save the date! On 2024-08-29 we’re planning to kickoff our Gazebo Ionic Test and Tutorial Party.
@RobRoyce over at NASA JPL released ROSA, an AI agent framework work with ROS-based system. This is one small step for ROS running on a Moon or Mars mission .
It is time to start planning for ROSCon. You have until 2024-09-03T07:00:00Z, a little over two weeks away, to purchase early bird ROSCon tickets. Early bird tickets come with a $100 discount, which just so happens to be the cost to attend a ROSCon workshop. If you are new to ROS / ROSCon, don’t worry! We’re putting together an introductory ROS workshop for our newest community members.
