ROS2 Integration with Unreal Engine 4 and or 5

Hello developer community,

I am aware of this → GitHub - code-iai/ROSIntegration: Unreal Engine Plugin to enable ROS Support

But…

I am looking for ROS2 integration with Unreal Engine. Does anyone working with this already ? If yes. It would be great if we can collaborate

Appreciate your help!

Thank you

Best regards,

You could try reaching out to the developers behind Carla, as it integrates with Unreal Engine and ROS, although it is specific for autonomous driving simulation and uses a network bridge for ROS(1 still?).

Another option could be AirSim from Microsoft, though it only documents ROS1 support:

https://microsoft.github.io/AirSim

Also, Isaac Sim use to be based UE4, but I guess that might have been deprecated for Unity instead:

But at least it provides clear documented support for ROS1 and ROS2 via ROS Bridge extensions.

Did this work and if it did how did you manage the integration if it isn’t too much to ask?
