[TB3] TurtleBot3 Manipulation now supports ROS2 Foxy! (and more...)

I brought a good news!
If you are a big fan of mobile robot arm, you are on the right page.

TurtleBot3 Manipulation now supports ROS2 Foxy! :foxy:
And there will be another big update for ROS2 Humble!!! :humble:

Thanks a lot for those who contributed to the turtlebot3_manipulation repository and the open source embedded controller OpenCR.

Unlike ROS TurtleBot3 manipulation packages, that of ROS2 package does not depend on any of custom messages or other packages.
The turtlebot3_manipulation package is the one and only package you will need.

ROS2 version of TurtleBot3 Manipulation works with awesome MoveIt and ros2_control so make sure to have these amazing utility and framework on your PC!! :slight_smile:

In the meantime while we were working on the ROS2 support, ROBOTIS Japan contributed the TurtleBot3 Manipulation testing and documentation for ROS Noetic so make sure to check it out if you’re not ready to join the ROS2 yet.
