I wanted to share a few related news items that we’ve been working on in the last couple of months.
In case you haven’t heard of InOrbit, we’re building a secure, cloud-based RobOps platform with the goal of providing tools that make developing and operating robots easier.
We have now launched both a Free Edition and a Developer Portal. Like Slack and other online tools, you can sign-up and use it with as many robots as you want for as long as you want for free - no credit card or budget approval required. Our goal is to make it easier for developers and roboticists to be able to use these tools, without worrying about additional cost, so they can focus on the products they are building.
Our developer tools include SDKs, APIs, code samples and other contributions to make it possible to integrate the InOrbit platform as part of a bigger solution, using only the pieces that make sense for each particular use case while staying in control of the broader solution.
We’re looking forward to hearing back from the community so we can keep iterating.
