Hello all,
I put this topic to talk about of one of the internship in my company.
Long time ago, I wanted to convert the opendog robot of James Burton from XRobot to ROS and, in the same time, make a state of the art of opensource quadruped robots.
I realize this could make a great subject for an internship for a mechatronic engineer student.
Here comes Carlos GUTIERREZ NAVEDO, my intern who got this internship.
I guide him along the way and played the role of an industrial customer.
We start by setting all requirements for this type of robotic platform and use case as technical demo for the company on shows and events.
After a phase of state of the art, we decide to mix two opensource projects with minor modification : OpenDog V3 GitHub - XRobots/openDogV3 and Hyperdog https://github.com/NDHANA94/opendog_ros2 from Nipun Dhananjaya
If you want to know more about this project, feel free to reach me and check out the github repo GitHub - tomlogan501/opendog_ros
