Hello everyone!
By the end of today (April 10 2023), all RMW packages will be feature frozen in preparation for the upcoming Iron Irwini release on May 23rd. This means that we will no longer be accepting additional features to the RMWs, which include rmw_fastrtps, rmw_cyclonedds, rmw_connextdds; as well as their vendor packages, Fast-DDS, Fast-CDR, cyclonedds , and iceoryx.
Bug fixes to the RMWs will still be accepted.
We are still accepting features in the ROS 2 base packages until April 17th, when we’ll do an overall feature freeze.
