New edition of the ROS MOOC from TUDelft

We have released a new edition of the MOOC Hello (Real) World with ROS, it is already available on the edX online learning platform.

Same as with the previous editions, the audience for the course are beginner level ROS1 users, however we are introducing a few changes:

  • The course is now self-paced and will remain open until September 23 2022, this means that, until that date, you can start at anytime and progress at your own speed and we will offer support via the discussion forum. Also, you have the option to earn a verified certificate.
  • The contents of the course have been updated, the material and assignments are now based on ROS Noetic.
  • An automated grading process is available for learners opting for the full access version.
  • Audit track (non-paying) learners will have access to all the contents, the discussion forum and the assignment instructions, but cannot submit or receive feedback on the assignments.

We’re focused now on this year’s edition of the course, after that we’ll decide what’s the future of this course.
