Dear ROS developers, the 2nd ‘Managing Fleets of Robots with ROS2’ hands-on training will be held from October 5 – 7, 2022. You’ll learn how to program multiple robots with ROS2.
With ROS2 quickly becoming the standard for robotics, more systems need to cooperate to deliver robotic solutions.
This hands-on training is a practical intro to using ROS2 to manage multi-robot systems. You will learn how to use this open-source framework, and get hands-on experience using real robots. Ultimately, you will understand better how ROS2 can help you achieve your business goals.
What you’ll learn
How to do robot navigation in ROS2 using Nav2
How to build a multi-robot navigation system
How to manage fleets of robots in a common environment using the Open Robotics Middleware Framework (Open-RMF)
How you’ll learn
You will learn through ROS expert-led explanations
You will complete exercises with simulated robots, along with the instructors.
You will make a full project with the real robotic cafeteria.
You will learn HOW TO USE ROS2 & Open-RMF , not just know what it is.
You will practice A LOT with simulated & real robots.
You will practice in our Remote Real Robot Cafe .
This training is available in three different time zones:
Some updates - our Remote Real Robot Cafeteria is ready for the next ‘Managing Fleets of Robots with ROS2’ online training. Students will connect to the Rick and Morty robots remotely, and move them to serve coffee to tables of customers. #KeepPushingROSLearning with some fun
