Integrating ROS2 with Eclipse zenoh

Dear ROSers,

Many of you had asked if and how one could interact with ROS2 application from Eclipse zenoh and vice-versa. We have just posted a new blog that shows how you can do this and leverage the power of ROS2 without loosing any of the features that zenoh provides – including geo-distributed queries. The blog gets you started and we’ll provide more advanced examples going forward.

As always comments and suggestions are extremely welcome. I hope you’ll enjoy reading the blog and more importantly I hope you’ll give a try at driving the turtle through the young dragon :grinning:

Take Care!

This is really great! I know what Zenoh is and what it does; but it might worth giving a bit of context about Zenoh for those who are new to ROS / ROS 2. It might be worth creating a link to the ROS 2 documentation.

Hello @Katherine_Scott, good catch. We had a reference to the ROS2 doc in the previous blog on ROS2/zenoh but missed on this one. We’ll add it right away.
