Hadabot: Teleoperate an ESP32 differential drive robot

Read the new Hadabot post where we write some ROS 2 code to implement unicycle to diff drive conversions to teleop the ESP32-based Hadabot robot.


For those unfamiliar with my Hadabot effort - Hadabot is a robot kit to learn ROS 2 and robotics. If you are a software engineer with interest in learning ROS and robotics, then Hadabot is designed for you.

It is extremely affordable, runs off an ESP32 microcontroller board (running MicroPython), is easy to set up, and leverages Docker to sandbox the ROS 2 install libraries from your host system. The user interfaces, including an online VSCode, all run on in the web browser to ensure a consistent user experience.
